Founded in 2005, the California Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative is a statewide grassroots organization that addresses health, environmental, reproductive justice, and other social issues faced by its low-income, female, Vietnamese immigrant and refugee workforce. https://www.cahealthynailsalons.org

MPower Alliance works to mitigate the psychological and emotional trauma women and birthing people experience when they have voluntarily or involuntarily placed their children for adoption. MPower Alliances knows that many birth parents place their children for adoption due to systemic issues. MPower Alliance strives to raise awareness about the power differentials within adoption and the injustices many pregnant people and birth parents experience related to adoption. Roots of Labor Birth Collective (RLBC) is committed to reproductive justice, and believes that everyone deserves a doula, regardless of one’s ability to pay. We partner with Santa Rita Jail and Bay Area clinics who serve low-income and Black, Indigenous and people of color communities (BIPOC). Founded in 1974, Equal Rights Advocates (ERA) is a national, non-profit, civil rights organization dedicated to advancing gender justice as it intersects with economic justice in schools and workplaces nationwide. Since 1974, ERA has led gender equity work through high-impact litigation, free direct legal services, and policy advocacy focused on protecting and advancing the rights of women and advancing economic security for marginalized communities.
